Shoe Fund
Actor Conrad Cantzen believed that a good pair of shoes made a great first impression on Casting Directors. When Conrad died he left his estate to The Actors' Fund with the stipulation that it be used to help actors buy new shoes so they did not appear "down at the heel" when auditioning.

The Shoe Fund will reimburse actors up to $40, once every 12 months, for shoes costing no more than $80. To be considered the actor must be:
1. A current member of a performing arts union.
2. Unemployed in the entertainment field.

To get your Shoe Fund form call (212) 221-7300 ext 146.
